For those of you who don’t know how I spend most of my time throughout the year, I am the photographer onboard The Best Odyssey which is a 5 yr. world kiteboarding expedition via a 60ft catamaran. Needless to say we get to do a lot of cool sports in very interesting places. So last week I posted (on the Offshore Odysseys website) some photos and a slideshow from our expedition highlights in 2010. Kaenon Sunglasses is running a new ad of an image I took of stand up paddler Jamie Mitchell. Jamie is being nominated for National Geographic’s “Adventurer of the Year” award for his outstanding athletic achievements in the stand up paddling world. If you have a minute take the time to vote on National Geographics website.
Last year I went to Bir, India to photograph some paragliding for a local paragliding company called Himalayan Sky Safaris. The story of that trip is in the current issue of Action Asia. Check it out. It is a REALLY incredible place to fly big big air!
